With all of the different subscription services and membership benefits going up on all the sites, I realized I probably should better explain why I've made one in the first place. (It also took a lot of convincing, because I didn't know if anyone would even have interest).
Why Patreon?
I love to create, and it’s currently my full-time job. I do freelance work and personal commissions, but patron support is what really helps get by month to month. It allows me to keep making content that myself and others want, and in return I try to offer things that make that support worth it.
So you’re going behind a paywall?
Not exactly. There are some benefits that will only be for patrons (like linearts, high resolution files, downloadables, etc), but that’s only fair. Patrons will see content that will go public earlier, of course, but they can also get a say in what content goes up next.
Why all the tiers?
Besides variety being the spice of life, not everyone can or wishes to support the
