Bonjour! I thought I would guide you on how I price my artworks, why, and where I make a little rebate. I'm well aware that my artworks may be priced higher than many we see around here. I actually struggled with whether I would sell dirt cheap, or whether I should follow the suggestions of professionals. The argument that convinced me was from this artist: At the end of the day, we need as an artist to make some kind of equivalent income than what we would make at a real job. One wouldn't want to work 8 hours creating something only to be paid the equivalent of 30 minutes... So! How do I work? Well, I put my time at 7$/hour, and I charge the amount of time that it takes me to create the artwork. Nothing more, nothing less. And when I say 'create the artwork', I mean from the moment that all my ressources are up and ready within Gimp, I start the first mouse-stroke, up to when the work is complete within Gimp.
