Description
The S.H.A.D.O. Skydiver is a part-submarine, part-aircraft used by S.H.A.D.O. the Supreme Headquarters Alien Defence Organisation to defend Earth from alien invasion.
The Skydiver operates covertly in the ocean waiting for an alert to be sent from headquarters, then the sub tilts allowing Sky 1 - the aircraft part to launch into the air.
Sky 1 is armed with 4 x cannon and two pods containing missiles under the wings.
The series UFO was designed by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson and first broadcast in the UK in 1972.

Every time I see the skydiver in an action shot it makes me think about the Farallon Islands Orcas, and how they seem to scare the bejebers out of the great whites that feed on the local elephant seal population. In one case seventeen tagged great whites split the scene, in one case crossing the Pacific after going deep and went to Australian waters. I imagine the Skydiver interceptors have the same effect on the Alains Saucers. Excellent image. Well done and best of luck in your future endeavors.
