Hoyt :iconherrdrayer: made me do it.

Several months ago I posted a photo of a branch line near where I lived for 2 years in Germany. That branch connected to the DB main at Erdorf and here is the local switcher parked between runs at the fortress like passenger station where I was connecting for Cologne.

Some of these as still around today as BR361 class. Thanks to Dennis :iconkotbaum: for the detail.

Ah, I love olden days European railroading. Siderod diesels and four-wheel freight cars are right up my alley! Just a great shot.

Any idea why the boxcar has windows, though?
