Fire Emblem Awakening: Falchion in progress

Lucina/Chrom's sword in the making! First layer of paint has been painted (still need about 1-2 more layers) I am a little disappointed in myself that I was unable to finish Lucina's cosplay in time for Anime Revolution that happened in Vancouver about 2 weekends ago. I'm going to take my time now to perfect her cosplay and hopefully have her done by Sakuracon in Seattle next year!

Materials were 1.5" thick styrofoam (I believe...don't remember) and I used a CNC router to route the basic shape and the rest was old fashion hand carving for the details that you see on the sword. Sandpaper was then used to smooth out the surface. I'll post up more pictures once I've got more time. Wayy to swamped to work atm before full time school starts again D:
