I sighed as I laid down in the grass-my element-and looked around me.

There were many Pokemon frolicking in the fields, though some stopped and stared at me and my friends. They knew who we were and how powerful we are, so it was normal for any kind of Pokemon to become intimidated by our presence.

I gave them a gentle smile, one that reassured them that they had nothing to fear. We were simply guardians, protecting them from the greedy, selfish humans that took our land and their Pokemon who betrayed their own kind.

But for now, everything seemed peaceful..the way it should be. As Terrakion and Cobalion were laying next to me, talking to one another, I figured I could take a small nap..until I hear a small wail.

"Help! Someone-! Oof!!" I felt something crash into my side, making me scramble to my feet. "Hey!" I grunted, turning my head to glare at the source. "What do you think you're-?"

My eyes widened when I realized that it was a baby Kangaskhan, its mother nowhere to be found. Terrakion and Cobalion were equally alarmed.

"I-I'm sorry, Virizion!" She stammered. "Bu-But my mom..she's..she's..."

"She's what? Please little one," Cobalion urged, standing up. "If you can't tell us..at least show us. We are here to help you."

Nodding, the baby Pokemon took off in another direction and Cobalion, Terrakion, and I followed suit.

Once we reached our destination, we stopped, horrified to see that the mother Kangaskhan was trapped in an energy net. "Oh! The Swords of Justice! Thank Arceus you're here," she sighed with relief.

"Don't worry," I told her reassuringly, taking a few steps forward. "We will-"

"VIRIZION WATCH OUT!" Cobalion shouted. I stopped, seeing some kind of tripwire on the ground, and backed away. 'Huh..Whoever laid this out must have been desperate to catch Pokemon...they even have an extra trap in case someone decides to rescue them...'

"Ah, the runt brought more powerful Pokemon to us!"
"Huh...well good thing we didn't kill it right away.."

Looking up, I saw two humans, clad in black. I've seen them many times before: Team Rocket Grunts. They sought to capture the most powerful and rarest Pokemon..and their plans have or almost succeeded.

"Not only that..but it's the Swords of Justice! Isn't that a treat?"

"Yes," one of them took out a Pokeball and released a Tyranitar. "Tyranitar, this is what you've been training for! Use Hyper Beam! I want the Virizion first!"

The Dark-type glared down at me, emitting a large, black energy beam from its mouth, though I was quick to dodge it. I used Magical Leaf to distract it while Cobalion and Terrakion free the captured Kangashkan.
"I don't think so!" Tyranitar jumped down from the ledge and swiped its tail towards them, knocking them away. Terrakion was quick to recover and charged at it..only for him to get caught in the tripwire and fall.

"Terrakion!" I gasped, racing over to help him when I felt something crash into me, knocking me down.

"Pathetic." Rising up shakily, I looked to see that it was a Golem that rammed into me. "The way my trainers were talkin' about you guys, I thought we were gonna get a real challenge." He looked over at Terrakion and Cobalion, who were fighting off the Tyranitar.

"But to me your little trio of guardians is nothin' but a trio of fools!"

My eyes widened in shock, before they began to flare with anger. "You think we are the fools? Hah...I'm afraid you're mistaken, Golem." I chuckled, closing my eyes and summoning Sacred Sword.

"Because the only fools here...are the ones that dare challenge a Sword of Justice." Turning around sharply, I opened my eyes and sprinted towards Tyranitar. Terrakion and Cobalion saw me, and jumped out of the way as I leaped into the air and slashed the green beast. It fainted instantly.

"WHAT?! How's that possible?!" The Grunt cried. I looked up at them, smirking. My friends walked up beside me; Cobalion shot a cold glare at the Golem, making him quiver and roll back to his trainer.

"What are you doing?! Get back in there and-!" Terrakion suddenly roared at the Grunts, scaring them into retreating their Pokemon and running away.

I sighed, my Sacred Sword disappearing. I was glad that was over.

"Thank you, Swords of Justice," I looked over to the Kangaskhan, who smiled in relief. "But I'm still-"

"Don't worry, ma'am," Terrakion said, going over to help free her. I did as well and once the energy net was off she stood up. Her baby jumped back into her pouch, thanking us for freeing her mother.

"You're welcome," I smiled warmly. "I am truly grateful," the Kangaskhan mother replied, "If you hadn't come I would've..I.."

"You won't have to worry about them for a while," Cobalion reassured her, "we will be there to protect all Pokemon from humans and their brainwashed Pokemon."

"Exactly," I agreed, "because if we can't...who are we to be called guardians?"

Holy fRICK this one was long overdue. I finally finished it, though ^^

BIG NEWS I have a job at Aquatica now!! :D Technically I start when summer begins (that is when I get out of school which is June 9th, later than I thought) so atm I'm in training, though with school and everything going on it's been draining my energy to do anything at all, hence my inactivity.
^^; But once school is out things will get easier I'm sure ^^

Anyways....the Swords of Justice are my new favorite Pokemon group. My favorite of the four has to be Terrakion (I have his card, too :dummy:)#639 Terrakion 640 Virizion 638 Cobalion 647 Keldeo . I LOVE the movie and (not to spoil) Keldeo's fight! :squee::squee: I did base the personalities of Virizion, Terrakion, and Cobalion off of their personalities from the movie a bit, too.

So I hope you enjoy this story~

Pokemon belongs to Nintendo
I own the plot
