I'm back, everyone! Though I never actually left. I've been busy rearranging the folders and I'm nearly done. For those who're not in the Loop (hee hee, get it?), we're no longer categorizing deviantations by art style; instead we're categorizing by series. So there's no more Cosplay, Digital Art, Traditional Art, Handy Craft and Others, or Literature folder. Now, if you'd like to submit something, you submit it into the series the deviant is from. If there are two or more characters from different series, it goes into the "Other" folder; so things like memes would go there too; or if there isn't a folder for the series you'd like to submit into. I tried to include as many of CLAMP's works as I could, going by the year they were created.
But I digress. July is the month of Li Syaoran from CardCaptor Sakura! Why, you ask? Because his birthday is on July 13th! (The "Loop" thing makes more sense now, doesn't it? XD) Now, this month is, once again, for Syaoran Li from CardCaptor Sakura only. This isn't for Syaoran from TSUBASA RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE. He'll get his month eventually, I assure you. If you submit an entry of Tsubasa Syaoran or Syaoran and Sakura or Syaoran and any other character, it will not be accepted. Let him have his month.
And remember that poll I posted oh so long ago asking whether CCS Syaoran and Sakura where the same as Tsubasa Syaoran and Sakura and you all responded with an overwhelming response of “no” (with good reasoning to back up your claim)? It was for this purpose. So, you all voted and yes, the answer is indeed, no. So, only entries for CCS Syaoran, please! Show him some love!
Character Summary: Syaoran Li (Li (李) 李 小狼; also known as LǏ Xiǎoláng (Xiǎoláng - lit. Little Wolf) is a fictional character that appears in the series Cardcaptor Sakura made by CLAMP. He a descendant of Clow Reed and Sakura's rival during the Clow Card arc. He and Sakura are considered one of the "Soul Pairs" in the CLAMP multiverse, meaning they were meant to only be with each other in a romantic sense. (src. CCS wikia ccs.wikia.com/wiki/Syaoran_Li)
Contest Info & Guidelines:
Each month, we will feature a character from CLAMP based on your votes and hold a monthly contest where members may send in a piece of art centered around that character. For these contests, you must enter a drawing or a cosplay. We're featuring visual art, so no fanfictions, memes or doujinshi, sorry! Remember, the purpose of the contest is to feature one character at a time, so your entry must only include the featured character. No other characters in the image. Thank you! Please enter new material to the contest. Do not submit an old deviation already in your gallery. Show your support to the featured character and get those creative juices flowing. ^^ To enter, simply submit your image to the Monthly Mini-Contest folder. At the end of the month, the members vote on a winner and the winning entry will be displayed in our Featured folder for a month, until it is replaced by the next winner at end of the next month's voting. -~-
