August Character of the Month - [WINNER ANNOUNCED]

Thanks so much guys!

Hi guys! Thanks for all the lovely entries even though this month's contest was a little bit muddled. The contest is now closed for voting. Be sure to look at both the polls! The winner will be announced soon.

Hi Everyone! here. Sorry for this month's late start; I've been extremely sick for the last three weeks and I've also had to send my laptop in for repairs so I won't have reliable access to the internet for another two weeks. OTL
I'll do my best to keep the contest up and running however. I will also extend the deadline for this month's contest so that you still get enough time to work on your entries.

The poll results are in and you guys voted for Chii from Chobits! I will update this blog entry with the proper contest layout/ images when I can.

Character Summary

Chii is a fictional character from the series Chobits created by the mangaka team CLAMP. Chii is a exceptional Persocom, which is shorthand for Personal Computer, that Hideki Motosuwa found in a trash heap. In the beginning of the series she can only say 'Chi', so is what Hideki chose to call her.

Contest Info & Guidelines:

Each month, we will feature a character from CLAMP based on your votes and hold a monthly contest where members may send in a piece of art centered around that character.

For these contests, you must enter a drawing or a cosplay. We're featuring visual art, so no fanfictions, memes or doujinshi, sorry!

Remember, the purpose of the contest is to feature one character at a time, so your entry must only include the featured character. No other characters in the image. Thank you!

Please enter new material to the contest. Do not submit an old deviation already in your gallery. Show your support to the featured character and get those creative juices flowing. ^^

To enter, simply submit your image to the Monthly Mini-Contest folder.

At the end of the month, the members vote on a winner and the winning entry will be displayed in our Featured folder for a month, until it is replaced by the next winner at end of the next month's voting.
