Hi Clair.

Thanks for saving my "Two Birch Trees" painting. Initially it was painted for my sister after she lost a son by gun shot. It was a place that she liked to go and sit after the tragedy. She took a photo of the place and I converted it into a painting which hangs on her wall. Time has passed and her life is going well for her now, however I'm not sure that anyone really gets over that kind of loss. I'm lucky that my four children have done well and have their own children now. Ciao. 😊 Sheridan

I did not mention this detail in the Comments under the painting as I did not want members to select it based upon sympathy.

I admire and love Julie's work on the Marine site! I love the prints on various media also, especially the cups. I wish there was a way to set up the site for the USA/N America...
