Something something Rayman in Captain Laserhawk

have you guys heard the news about rayman apparently being an actual character (or so it seems) in Netflix's Captain Laserhawk? i have no idea what's going on lol. Rayman seems to be some kind of singer or tv conductor there (he can be seen in billboards with a bowtie, holding a microphone so this is just speculation).
