Rayman Nightmarish chapter 10 page 26

I LOVED THIIIIS!

This chapter was so excellent in getting the goal of defeating the lighteater on a clear track and emphasising how important Waaty's role truly is in the story. Her dreams that made her go onto this journey might even have more to them then I already thought and I am excited to learn more.

But as is part of the course with this webcomic, all the character moments were my favourite part.

Globox trying his best to redeem his blunders for losing his friends to the enemy and succeeding while being peak comedy genius in the progress.

Helena and Titus being a wonderfull helpfull pair with one being more patiënt and the other less tolerant of shenanigans.

Bubble Dreamer giving me massive Genie vibes from Alladin with his hilarious info dump on the world-ending prophecy.

Krull and Vresh being...very good Knaaren friends in their own way. XD

And Rayman whistling to himself at night made me immidiatly think of the Sea Of Serendipity world map theme from Origins and I loved it. I am a big fan of how you write Rayman as a very chill yet also concerned person. A hero who is competent but knows when a situation can't just be solved with shooting fists or shoes. He isn't portrayed as wacky as in the ubiart games but the balance between serious and cartoonish thingamajig is still there. His interactions with the Knaaren show that he doesn't let himself get pushed around easily either despite that they can do it easily. Which makes me root for him even more.

Long comment short, chapter 10 was a banger, and I will continue with 11 asap.
