Hello! I'm known on dA for my fractal art/resources and also a little for web design. It is due to dA that I was exposed to Apophysis and fractal art has since greatly impacted my life. My past and current artistic pursuits are in beadwork, polymer clay, painting ceramics, pottery, porcelain, writing (both fiction and nonfiction varieties), web design, cooking, knitting, crocheting...basically everything.

But I mostly dream about being cyberized and piloting a mecha... Noes!

GIMP Script-Fu Updates

Fueled by no sleep and too much caffeine, I finally got around to checking my GIMP Script-Fu "actions" . I've received many messages over the years that they no longer work.The good news is that I cannot find anything wrong with them. The Script-Fu scripts are still compatible with the latest version of GIMP—that is 2.8.10 at the time of this writing. The bad news is that it took me like five years to get around to checking out the problem, LOL :lol: And here I was thinking that I'd have to relearn the scripting language.One of the problems could be that the directory path for the scripts in version 2.4 was Program Files/GIMP-2.4/share/...

Figured I should update my journal. I've wanted to upload some of the pieces from 2013's calendar, but I haven't been able to get much rendering done. I've been waylaid by illness and post-holiday fatique (I ended up making ten knitted snowman ornaments for family, a crocheted fish bag for my niece, a knitted infant dress for my other niece, a crocheted lunch bag for my nephew, and a whole bunch of crocheted household items for a family white elephant gift exchange--all in the three weeks prior to Christmas; planning is not my strong area).Mostly I'm writing to let you know about my new Facebook page .
