“Surrender” is the third piece of this series about fire and blood.
I’m pretty inspired by this theme: I like medieval clothes, fantasy atmosphere and warriors from ancient times, certainly impregnated by the Game of Thrones’ universe and its fancies. A lot of artists on DeviantArt are used to design magnificient characters with fantastic and mysterious equipments, I would like to be able of making something similar to Carlos Quevedo, Lingdumstudog or PeteMohrbacher (they don’t need any promotion, but if you don’t know them, go immediately visiting their respective gallery… however don’t deny mine at the same time, heh?).
Fire + Blood / I / Placid Fury
Fire + Blood / II / Reckless
This time, you will notice that fire and blood are less present in comparison with the two precedent artworks. “Surrender” has got a softer ambience, without impressive violence. That’s an abandonment; the lady is near to give up, maybe this is just a fleeting surrender before taking the bull by the horns, because she’s still standing in front of the day. Everyone will have its proper idea of what really happens here.
I wish I could devote myself to digital art this year, a little more than before. My job takes me a lot time and it’s not easy to create out of holidays’ periods.
2016, the year to regain control of my account? Just cross the fingers…
Happy New Year to everyone, and I already have to thank you for all your and nice comments. You’re just crazy (but I love it so much).
