Elaine Marley

English: Elaine Marley is character of play “Monkey Island”. She's the strong woman of the archipelago of the three islands. Feared of many pirates for his great strength of character, but also very liked from its kindness, she's the downward one of a long family of governor. Seeking since always a husband, it will find it at Guybrush that it will choose for its weakness and its lack of heroism. She likes for her incompetence. Moreover, it “will in addition carry the breeches” in the couple, making the decisions and sending his/her husband to fill of the grotesque missions, “will box it” regularly even will humiliate it per moment but will never acknowledge not to have liked but him.

Crainte de beaucoup de pirates pour sa grande force de caractère, mais également très aimée de par sa gentillesse, elle est la descendante d'une longue famille de gouverneur. Cherchant depuis toujours un époux, elle le trouvera chez Guybrush qu'elle choisira pour sa faiblesse et son manque d'héroïsme. Elle aime pour son incompétence. De plus, elle "portera la culotte" dans le couple par ailleurs, prenant les décisions et envoyant son mari remplir des missions grotesques, le "boxera" régulièrement voire l'humiliera par moment mais avouera n'avoir jamais aimé que lui.
