Adella in Chinese dress

English: After having made the portrait " Adella in kimono" , I wanted to make this portrait for the Chinese new year. I took a photograph with a very merry expression of the face and I imagined that it wore a Chinese dress in a Chinese garden. The word which is written in Chinese on the wall, means "Happiness". In a Chinese proverb: " You return by this way and you will find your Happiness."
It is made with the watercolour. Year 2009.


French: Après avoir fait le portrait "Adella in kimono", j'ai voulu faire ce portrait pour le nouvel an chinois. J'ai pris une photo avec une expression très joyeuse du visage et j'ai imaginé qu'elle portait une robe chinoise dans un jardin chinois. Le mot qui est écrit en chinois sur le mur, signifie "bonheur". Dans un proverbe chinois: "Tu rentre par ce chemin et tu trouvera ton bonheur."
Il est fait à l'aquarelle. Année 2009.
