I loved the "Persian Boy" book too :D as well as the Storm Constantine Wraeththu books of course. After looking at this picture for a while I saw someone scary approach in the background!

Thanx!
You are attentive to detail ^^ Although I don't know if it should be scary... Maybe it's a lover ;)

I was thinking of Bagoas when we made this, so he could very well be, I guess.
So... how is life in harems these days?

I like the fantasy/sexy stuff with boys. For once it's not women who get objectified.

I don't do much painting lately... I would like to have a photoshoot like that, but I'm a bit short on models these days

Here's a good video with a smart person talking about objectifying and many other interesting things: [link]

Yemen, for real?

I'd have to see the beard. If it's a goatee, then yes.

Otherwise, well, I WOULD OWN HIM AND THEREFORE IT WOULD BE MY RIGHT TO SHAVE HIM. XD XD XD

You'd have a lot of work. Southern Europe men, you know, body hair and stuff. By the time you're done with the second leg, it grows back on the first one LOL
Sort of a goatee, yeah. Browse around in my "Boys" folder in the Gallery, you can't miss him, he's the only guy there with long hair.

This reminds me of something Alexander the Great would have loved... which means it rocks hardcore. Very well composed and your husband (I think I was reading on another picture ^_^) is very beautiful.

I have a weakness for long hair. And lean boys. And dark eyes. And did I mention long hair?.. :) Bagoas is very close to perfection in my top10

Do you mean book, movie or historical character?

Yeah, physically Bagoes sounds very pretty (though he looks like a freakin' parrot in what I've seen of the movie) But it's just his attitude in the book, I really liked him before his immaturity came through.

Book mostly...I think the movie is pretty naff...not least because Alexander didn't have an Irish accent XD And Hephaistion is just some pretty-boy kid and not the type of figure history has as Alexanders right hand man...

Aaaaah, a true fan :) I liked the movie, but in many cases (such as named by you) it did not correlate well with my ideas of how things should be :) Although Jared Leto looked pretty hot wearing eye-liner... I can't help it, boys with eye-liner just blow my mind. Historic truth? What historic truth, lol

Parrot? Really? I thought he looked rather nice. Fitting my image at least :) I loved Bagoas even before I saw him played by Francisco Bosch, and I thought he was awesome for the part. The way he moves... You can so see he's a dancer.

But Hephaestion was older than Alexander and Leto just looks like some kid running after king like "Love me pleasee!!!" XD Yes, eyeliner is always yummy XD

I actually prefered Bagoas and Oromedons little affair over him and Alexander...*shrugs*

Yeah his dance was totally awesome, I would pounce on him too if I were there XDXD

Some say they were the same age. But in the movie Hef does look younger, which is bullcrap in any case.

I like'em young, so the part about Bagoas' teen years was my favorite, too.

Mmmm, the dance. Swoon.

I got more upset when the dog and the horse died than when Alexander did though...XD But Hephaestions death was so sad ;_;

Like em young do ya? *wink wink* XD

I can't help it, it's an addiction. Considerably young, of course :)
