Fabric and fabric marker, completed 27 March 2013.

For a geeky friend's wedding reception, the mother of the bride put out cloth squares and fabric markers for people to write messages to the newlyweds, which she later sewed together into a quilt for the couple. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to attend the wedding, but the mother of the bride shipped me a cloth square so I could decorate it for the quilt. I drew my friend's favourite pairing from her favourite video game, Sabin and Terra from Final Fantasy VI.

That is such a sweet idea!  Hope they got lots of neat squares!

Very cute pic!  Never pictured Terra with Sabin, but they look good together!

I know, right? I had never considered it either - I guess because he's so chaste in the game, haha - but since she started shipping them I realized they'd probably go quite well together.

The mother of the bride already made the squares into a quilt. And as for the pairing, His Majesty has more pretty girls inside his castle than grains of sand outside it. I'm sure he'll get over it. (;
