The Piast mausoleum was added to the eastern wall of the presbytery of the Basilica of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Krzeszów/south-west Poland/ in the years 1735–1747. The tomb chapel, placed on a rectangle, closed on the east with two apses, and covered with two domes. Inside, colorful marbles and rich frescoes with allegorical content, as well as full-figure tombs of Bolek I (died 1301) and Bolek II (died 1368) have been preserved. The baroque plinths are flanked by the life-size Rococo sculptures of the wives of both rulers. The frescoes on the dome's vault show the history of the monastery and are the work of J. W. Neunhertz and were created in 1736.
