Description:
Torcosmic is a large Testudine pokémon with a massive smooth carapace made out of a peculiar crystal. Its shell is primarily purple, but glows with colors and lights resembling those of a clear night’s sky and stars. It's body is a royal purple in color with deep pink, star-like markings on its neck and tail. Its flippers are long with two rows of large spur-like scales and pink finger-like nails at the tips. Torcosmic has a thick tail and short rear flippers.

Summary:
With its Psychic abilities, it can create astral projections from its massive shell. A single Torcosmic is capable of turning a bleak desert into a planetarium. The only time a Torcosmic will ever be seen in the day in the wild is when it's ready to lay its eggs. In ancient times, storytellers would train Torcosmic to project lifelike imagery for the stories they’d tell. It is said their Astral projections are so real they can be touched. The scutes on their body were often used as magic charms.

Torcosmic is based on the Hawksbill Sea Turtle, a Medium-sized Sea turtle found in the Oceans Worldwide. It also has aspects of the African Spur-Thighed or Sulcata Tortoise.

The Star/Space theme is based on the fact Sea turtles often use the stars and Milky Way in order to navigate. Which is a tactic the Ancient Egyptian used.

On that note, Torcosmic's shell design is based on a Star Projector.
