Guidelines

For those of you that may not know yet, a Community Week is a chance for everyone in the community to bring to light their favorite subject, art, project or any other topic that you consider important but may get overlooked in other ways. If you're interested in participating in the next Community Weeks, then please read the following info!

Schedule overview

When is the next Community Week?

Getting Involved

  • If you'd like to get involved with an upcoming Community Week then you need to send a summary of the article you wish to write to projecteducate via note :note: with this title "Community Week Summary".
  • You will then be contacted to discuss your idea and asked to finish the article as a draft in sta.sh at least seven days before the Community Week starts.
  • In those seven days, the Community Week leads will review your articles for possible changes and notify you about them.
    Editors - JenFruzz, isthisthingstillon, Mrs-Durden and Kaz-D
  • You'll be invited into the group as a contributor after the draft had been finished.
Doesn't have an idea for an article, but want to get involved?
Simply note projecteducate and share your interest. Mrs-Durden or Kaz-D will talk with you about article proposals.

Time Slots

It's now time to familiarize yourself with scheduled submit.
If you've got CORE Membership then you have access to this feature. The 'scheduled submit' will be used to post your article via Sta.sh at the time slot given by cinyu.
Please note that scheduled submit runs on your local time and Project Educate runs in PST!
You'll need to use a time converter to ensure you're posting the article at the correct moment.
Sometimes the schedule submit seems to have troubles. Which means your article was never submitted to projecteducate. It is great to check later on the day if your article had been posted or not.

Doesn't have a CORE Membership?
In case you don't have a CORE Membership, cinyu will discuss with you about the solution.
Possible, manual submitting.

Journal Skin

Please be aware that this skin is out-of-date and won't be used for current articles in projecteducate.
Our current skin is installed as group CSS for every admin to use. Make sure that you are using the proper skin after you had been invited as a contributor.

How to install the skin is explained in a tutorial created by fullofgreendust, which you find as a contributor in the back room of projecteducate. Please don't worry in case you can not find it. Mrs-Durden and Kaz-D will send the tutorial along with the guidelines to you via note.
