Seraphim by cinemamind Seraphim by cinemamind
"In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lofty; and the helm of his robe filled the temple. Seraphs were in attendance above him; each had six wings: with two they covered their faces, and with two they covered their feet, and with two they flew."
-Isaiah 6(1-2)

I used the same method as my cherub piece.
I was trying to go for more of an insect quality, rather than the boring, cliche, feathered, humanoid appearance.

Like this one the best. You drew the seraph neither like a dragon/serpenr or a six winged man. We don't know what seraphim actually look like.

When I look at images of the different angels and it makes me think. Just to think that God could have made us humans in the image of any of His angels. He could have made us in the image of a Seraph, a Cherub, a Ophanim, etc, etc. But instead He choice to make us in His image.

I like this image of the Seraphim. I want to let you know that I used this image as a background in some of my 3d architecture models that I was originally doing for college before I decided not to pursue the path because it wasn't doing well at the time. I in no means am stealing your work. I will link back to this page for reference and credit.Heart

PS: You should do the fierce image of the creature from Apocalypse of Abraham.

I have seen the Seraphim before seeing any artistic representations. Yours is very close, however, they fly because of energy and not because of what some think are wings.

I’ve always had a fascination with angels, but so many portrayals of them these days leave
a lot to be desired! For instance; a lot of times angels are portrayed as cute little babies with wings. Angels are NOT cute little babies! They are powerful servants of GOD!

When I see a picture like yours that portrays an angel in an accurate way, it’s like a breath
of fresh air!

GOD bless!

Yup. Those little things are called "Putti" and have nothing to do with any religious text out there.
