Discovery

I wasn't actually going to paint this one, but after upon finishing it I'm really glad I did! Tried out some new things with this piece (as always). The part of this I'm the most proud of though is the symbol. Mainly because I played with some impasto/scraffito techniques to make it literally POP out from the canvas. The only thing I can already tell I did wrong here, is that the symbol should have been more of an oval, because you know...foreshortening.
Overall though I'm pretty happy with how this turned out.
