I'll start out by saying this is a decent drawing of a cute dog.

While I realize he is supposed to be heavily stylized, the position of the right eye (his right) is either off, or the eye is too big; as right now it appears incongruous and kindof floaty, as if it doesn't really belong there.

I'm also seeing a sort of black line on his back, as if the spine were supposed to be running that way, but if that's the case, then it's been placed too far over on his side.

His ankle bones are a tish too long, and his front legs are straight and almost "pipe-like" lacking apparent wrists or other features. A bit of soft shaping and muscle contours might make it look more organic and lifelike.

I'll start out by saying the facial expression is well done. It works within the style, and everything seems to be in the right spot on the head.

However, the overall anatomy of the body is off. Even stylistically, anatomy is important. The best thing that helps me, personally, is one of those tiny poseable artist models made of wood. They help a lot with proportion and anatomy, and little ones can be bought for well under $20.

If shopping is a pain, maybe a picture reference could also help. That being said, the background is too "sketchy," and in order to smooth things out you may want to go over it a few more times in pencil to even out the tone.

Thank you so much for the feedback. :) It's always good to get an outside perspective.
