I totally agree. I did grow up thinking pink was only for girls, was probably raised that way and my stepfather had a thing against me doing "girly" things, he wouldn't even buy me a purple notebook because he thought it was for girls and thought it would get me made fun of or bullied some other way.

But I'm male and I like pink and I don't care if anyone else does. I have pink shoe-laces! Pink is for everyone, no one gender should have that or any other color. Same with the color red, that's always been my favorite color, not blue or green although I do like those colors more than I did before and learned their more calming colors than even red!

I regret that I grew up thinking light colors were more feminine and dark colors were more masculine, that was influenced, but thankfully somewhere along the line I realized dark colored things can be feminine and light colored things can be masculine, and that's the way uh huh uh huh I like it! One example I definitely like, a brown female animal and a white male animal (I mean I don't mind brown male and white female sometimes but I feel like it's over-done and I'd like to see more brown female/white male creatures and other dark-colored females and light-colored males, more specifically pairing.) I bring this up because when it comes to brown creatures and lighter colored creatures including white, maybe it's me but more often than not the brown creature is male and the other creature, especially white, or pink even, is female, and I get tired of that quickly. I want to see more dark-colored feminine creatures and more white and other light colored masculine creatures!

But I'm gonna say it again, I am male but I like pink! Pink is one of my favorite colors too actually :D. And all you pink loving males, don't be ashamed that you like this color too!

Pink Points Pink Points Pink Facebook like bullet pink fav Kawaii Fox pink ver. Pink Brofist Pink Orb pink llama Balck Pink Fire Butterfly Pink - F2U! F2U Pink Rose -F2U- Small Pink Strawberry tiny light pink heart

This gives me an idea for a new artwork (can also be an emoji icon): A pink male gender symbol!

But seriously color should not define gender and gender should not define color, all colors are for both genders!

Yeah tbh, I don’t see the point of pink being a girl colour. I’m like the type of girl who hates pink. There’s all colours in the world that aren’t for any gender. Literally.

Did you know that pink was originally for boys, and blue was originally for girls?

It's true. It's because pink at the time was seen as more of a bright, bold color, befitting a brash, loudmouthed, strong boy; and blue was seen as a soft, gentle color, befitting a sweet, softspoken, gentle girl.

Of course, this is how they thought boys and girls should act; since gender roles were more strongly enforced.

Lmao, I remember this one time where the meanest girl in first grade was like "If you like pink, you're a girl. If you like blue, you're a boy" and me, not liking pink and loving all the boyish colors, went up to her and said "Boi, I can like whatever color I want. I hate pink and love those boy colors. So shut the heck up because color has no gender. Also, if a boy likes pink he is a boy. (Back then, I didn't know what transgender was so QmQ) Now, stop being so sexist."

Colors can't have genders because they don't have genitals nor hormones!
