Lower your eyelids to die with the Sun

"The world, such marvelous creation, one which seems to be propelled forward by its own downfalls. We have always made mistakes, mistakes which pushed us into cruelty, destitution....war..... Yet, the way I see it, we seem to move forward only when encountering problems above the level of an individual. We have progressed, we have evolved, and our consciousness has been reborn through its own regrets. I thought my intents were meant to aid the greater good, help anyone in need, make this world better. Only now I see my fault. I have chosen to fight dishonor, blood and war my entire live, and although anyone would think this is achievable through work and time, I couldn't achieve such a change not in my first life, nor will I be able to achieve it in thousands other lifetimes to come. Now I have sacrificed my soul, my happiness, family and humanity in hopes to set this straight.
But the bad of this world can't and mustn't be rid off, else there won't appear to be any good standing near it. Odd of me to say such..... oh well. Yet its my work to keep good balance.
I suppose I just have to carry on. My happiness is going to wait....some more.... "

My dear watchers, before I go on and post other commissions and whatnot I need to take this short break to introduce a piece on which I've been working since September 2013.
bently96 approached me and shown me not only this OC but the complex world(s) Ruhig lives in.
My job was to portray this equally complex and so well developed figure. The reason it took me so long is mostly because I wnted to take my time to actually know
and try to understand this OC. Secondly, there's already quite a bit artworks of Ruhig, some of them on a really high level, and knowing I have never worked with a robotic body
before I developed something close to art-fear ( ) So I delayed this piece until I was sure enough I can make it work and still be true to my own style.

And here is the finished product.
The wait was long, working on this one took me long but at the end of the day I think I can say I'm satisfied.
