Story: 

Minou walked with Proud Star to the parade ring. There the grey stallion sees other two horses, who are already at the ring. The two other stallions are from the Fox Harbor Farm, the black one was named Sunday Memory and the bay one was WBS Moves Like Jagger. The three stallions had met at the SRE Flinders Cup bevor. Proud Star only looked shortly on them and then he walked with Minou around the circle. The Stallion did not get nervously of the loud people around the ring, which were looking at the horses, so you could call Proud Star relaxed. After another two rounds in the parade ring the white mare WBS Ghost Hour came in the circle. At the same time Mr. Winter, Minou's Grandpa and owner of the Lucky Horse Ranch, came to the girl and the horse. He put the saddle with the green saddle cloth on the horse. On the green saddle cloth is a big white 3, it is the starting number for Proud Star. "The Competitors are very strong." Mr. Winter say that, when he was looking at the other horses. "It is a big race and it will be hard for Proud Star to be placed."
"I think he will do his best like he did in the races bevor and he will placed too." Minou answered while she was looking at the grey stallion. She knew the stallion since he was born at the Ranch and trained him for the last two races, Minou was sure he would run a good time. Pierre Dupond, the Jockey came to them and Mr. Winter helped him to get on the back of Proud Star. They are discussing the strategy of the race again, they did it since the last Training for this race.

At the racecourse Proud Star was waking up, he did not get nervously but he shows that he want to run. Pierre Dupond had hard to work not letting him race along the track. The Jockeys galloped with the Horses to the start machine. It was easy to lead Proud Star into the gates, they had trained it often enough. Because their where first in it they had to wait for the others. When all horses were in the gates the bell ring loudly and the gates opened. When they was out of the gates WBS Ghost Hour went in leadership, Pierre Dupond steer Proud Star behind the mare. WBS Moves Like Jagger tried to overtake bevor they would come in the first curve. Sunday Memory was the last horse who reached the first curve, but he was not far away from the others.
