The cars are trapped by ice next to the lake of geneva (Switzerland).
They won't be able to move them before 3 weeks. This ice is due to high wind which created waves and the icy temperature of minus 20° Celsius.

Funny but sad! What city was this in? I remember visiting the area a few years ago in February, and the scene in Lausanne and Montreux was completely different then -- nice, mild winter weather.
It is in Versoix, a small town just next to Geneva.
This winter has been really special, we had temperature around -20° Celsius for about 3 weeks.

Thanks! That's really cold -- much colder than our unusually mild winter here in Boston with only about 15-20cm of snow all winter!
