while I love doing nice art with fancy supplies, it is fun to occasionally practice with the supplies you used as a kid and see how much better you are at using them

try it for yourself and feel 8 year old you rejoice at your comparative art God skills. At least for me it is a nice boost in confidence

instead of comparing yourself to other artists, compare you to yourself and be proud of how far you have come
