Christophe Vacher is a French artist who has been doing Matte paintings/Backgrounds, Concept Art and Art Direction for major Hollywood studios (Disney, Dreamworks, Universal Studios) and the animation industry since 1989. His credits include movies such as "The Hunchback of Notre Dame", "Dinosaur", "Hercules," "Tarzan", the Stravinsky Firebird finale for "Fantasia 2000", "Treasure Planet", "Shark Tale", "Enchanted", "Despicable Me" and "9", for which he was nominated at the Annie Awards (the equivalent of the Academy Awards for Animation) in 2010.
He also worked at Hasbro studios on the series "Transformers Prime" (for which he won 2 Emmy Awards back to back in 2011 and 2012 and was nominated again at the Annie Awards in 2011) and the "Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous" series for Dreamworks/Netflix.
He currently works on the Disney project "Iwaju."
In parallel to his work in Animation, he enjoys painting for Art Galleries.
He currently lives in North Hollywood, California.
