Another Size Riot contest I've joined. This time, I had to find time in between this and drawing my Inktober on main. That and my job taking even more time than usual had made this even more challenging. Writing about dicks? No problem. Having time to do so? Oh my, now that's hard... In fact, I wrote my story on the 30th and had to re-read it at least for times and fix it as many times before I submitted it. My entry, "Mistress Dana's new twist", made it in time. But once again I felt really nervous about it. It wasn't just reading other writers' entries, seeing how original and graphic they were, looking at myself again as someone who could have done better... even though I knew I did this in less than two days, and still managed to send it before the deadline. Yes, I know, this is another Size Riot post. I don't use journals for that much, so I like to dump my thoughts right here for all to read them. So this time it was GiantJuly19. The topic? Giants and first dates. So it had to feature a male giant AND a first date. In any way we wanted. And boy, was the contest cool! People gave their best with something that a good chunk of the community isn't that into: giant dudes. And no, no one has to judge you for your tastes, but some people are criticized for not following the memetic "You like that, little man?" and similar variations. Size fantasies are as varied as we are, so it's sad that some parts aren't treated with the same care and love. Thus a contest revolving giant men is a challenge, but also a good way to show that big dudes are cool too.
