*~*~*~* FULL VIEW, PLEASE!!!! *~*~*~*
...She struck a bargain with the god himself, mighty Poseidon, Lord of the Seas. In exchange for safe passage for her people to wherever Fate would take them, Hierolytha, the last queen of Atlantis, would remain in the city alone. Her sacrifice would ensure their survival, but as the last of the mighty Atlantean fleet sailed away toward the distant sun, Hiero wished to hold her daughter once more, to kiss her husband one last time. And Poseidon looked on...
So, this is my entry in *mizzd-stock's Tales of Atlantis [link] contest. I've had this idea rolling around in my head for quite some time (hence the reason for the *ahem* later entry), and since I've been gone from my homebase *read: the comp with all the pics and artsy stuff* for the past two weeks, I've only now been able to get my idea down on *er..* paper?
And yes, I suck at summaries. I'm not as happy with this piece as I was in my mind, but unfortunately I don't have PS proper, just a Microsoft program that's really not meant to do the things I use it for. So I guess that's alright, then.

Wonderful work, love the use of mythology to create such beautiful work. Well done
