Rainbow Dash Dalek win

Description

My six year old daughter wanted another Doctor Who themed costume after her recent K9 cosplay and she picked a Dalek.  As I was sketching the design, she was playing and yelled out "a My Little Pony Dalek!"
After shaking my head, I asked "A Rainbow Dash Dalek?"
"Yes!" she giggled...  And then looked at me seriously and said "It's gotta have wings."
"Wings...  So it's twenty percent cooler?"
"Yes!!"

And here we are.

It's build with a MDF wood frame, lots of cardboard and craft foam and some repurposed parts and pieces.  Took about three weeks (after my day job).  It has moving weapons and wings.  The whole thing is mounted on spindle casters and is mobile.  Its set up to wire in lights but is presently not installed (it does have an interior light and fan and plenty of room th move around and sit down inside).  It is completely modular and breaks down into multiple pieces for transport.

It won in its first showing in a small convention September 19th.

** Update ** it has been to a few local conventions and to Wizard World St Louis 2016.  The crowd went nuts during the cosplay competition when she came out.  And it now lights up and some newer modifications are making it into it.

Oh dear. The main hope for escaping Daleks lay in their low speed and, early on, their difficulty with stairs. Dash has neither problem.
