:sushi: KAORI SAKURA ICON THEME INTRODUCTION :sushi:

Compiling this icon theme has been truly a labor of love. It took countless hours over a couple weeks for me to finish. The credit for these icons goes entirely to their artists who created them and not me. The talent of the icon artists truly amazes me. My mission was to put together a complete Windows 7 icon theme of Japanese and Chinese icons.
Dedication
I dedicate this theme, Kaori Sakura, to the people and country of Japan. They were frequently in my thoughts and prayers as I put together this set, shortly after the terrible natural disasters. It was my honor to learn more about the Japanese and Chinese cultures and traditions as I researched the many icons.

I named this icon theme Kaori Sakura. Kaori, I got from the name of the icon pack by ~dunedhel that was my starting point. Kaori means fragrance in Japanese. Sakura are cherry blossoms and I put together a pack of 16 cherry blossom wallpapers that automatically rotate on my desktop. I love this background shuffle feature of Windows 7! We had a long, rough winter, and I was desperate for spring-my favorite season.

This was not a ready made iconpackage that I used. I put this theme together from a multitude of icon sources and I ended up changing over 120 default Windows 7 icons. Be sure to check out the other links below to see screenshots of most of the icons I used and also how I put together this theme.
