Kintsugi

Kintstugi is a japanese technique for repairing broken ceramic objects using a special gold-coated resin. This technique restores objects that would otherwise be thrown away, without hiding the imperfections that caused them to be so.

In short, it highlights the beauty of imperfections.

I find it a very interesting concept.

I revisited the technique using blotting paper and gold wax.
