I have not created a new witch in a long time. She took a bit to figure out. I kept scribbling until the lines showed me a new character. The reason I created a new witch is that the original witch character I wrote into the story has these really cool legs made out of tree trunks and because this character's story arch is so short I didn't want that idea to go to waste. I can think of so many things I would like to draw with that power. The original witch design I'm talking about, I posted in 2015, if you would like to search my Facebook albums for her. I think she is in "my characters", I'm not sure. Designing a whole new character to take her place just made more sense to me instead of giving her legs to another design. Really happy the way she came out. This model sheet is a bit scribbly only because I'm running out of time and I don't need a really tight design to understand what to draw for a reference. If you are wondering where I am at, Savage Conquest will be told in a number of different time periods. I'm working on the second mark on the timeline and almost finished. I hit a serious wall, but with the help of my friend Charles Marsh he made me understand my own idea better. He does that. Thanks, my dude! So, yeah. Finishing up the rough script for the second arch. I'm just figuring out the small details. I know a bunch of you are like yeah right this shit isn't ever going to happen, but I rather something take forever and be super proud of it than push it out real quick and be ok about it. For those of you who bought my past comics, I did something really cool with Maggot-Man that pushes that character over the top. You are going to love it. It's crazy because of social networks you can watch someone grind away at their passion project and see it turn into something from start to finish. You gain a certain connection to it. Well, at least I think so.
