Chopsticks-Pony

I'm alive.

The period of time I had to work on stuff comfortably in the heat this year was spent urgently working on a non-pony project. It's still ongoing but the main rush is mostly over. But honestly not sure how often I'll be drawing ponies and interacting in the fandom or for how long.

Could just be a lull, but seems like my priorities and thus associated interests are shifting. I like drawing ponies or silly things as a break anyway but it takes such a toll on my mentality. I never could find a quick doodling style I was comfortable with, but I'll keep trying.

*squints eyes at notifications*

I didn't post anything for 20 days, and what I did post wasn't submitted to any DA groups.

Might just be imposter syndrome creeping in, but not sure where all the new subs are coming from. At any rate, thanks!

Though it's strange... this year, a couple months after reaching the 1,k follower milestone, suddenly ~150 more show up. I really hope DA isn't plagued with social media bot statistics where they get you more percentage of visibility depending on your number of followers.

To anyone who doesn't like seeing my 'WTB is This?' updates, I'm almost done with this story arc; I have to get this finished and out of my system.

I've been using it to build drawing stamina, resilience, and get myself to actually finish an art project series for once. Please bear with it a little while longer. I'll make it up with something else next week when I finish this.

I'll be in the remote mountains for a few weeks, so my content/contact will be low and sporadic.

However, I plan to get a lot of art done up here.
