Character Starlight Glimmer MLP:FIM
Description
I [officially] joined the fandom 2-3 months before Season 6 aired. At that time, I didn't care much for Starlight at all aside from the equal memes. But as soon as I saw the trailer for Season 6, ep 1-2, I adored her immediately.
After Season 6, I made my first Top 20 Fav Character list, and she's remained solidly at #3 for a very long time, and then eventually squeaked her way to #2, my favorite character consistently from the show.
I think the character dynamic between Starlight and her friends is superior to that of the M6, especially Trixie. She's been evil, damsel in distress, powerful, pretty, beautiful, sweet, cute, adorable, shy, strong, precious, relatable, awesome, badass, complex, student, and leader, all-in-one. Very few characters can claim all that and still remain in character. Definitely supreme waifu material. (I know it's silly, but I actually get a wince of cringe seeing Starlight in overly slutty, provocative work).
Would I marry Starlight if given the chance? ... No, because she deserves much better. To me, nobody is worthy.

I believe the exact moment was the "Quiet !!" moment with Twilight XD
I always believed she suffered from Borderline Personality Disorder. And seeing her redemption arc where enslaving people seemed to be the go to solution was always a treat.
