ABOUT THE PONY
I like the wintery cold and obsessively love rice. A not cute Pegasus using long, dexterous wings like 'hands' to perform daily tasks. My regular job is crafting and inspecting at the Snowflake Factory. As a reminder, this is a NO BOOP zone. I'm allergic to boops, they make me puff up in angry fluffs, very scary. Trouble with insomnia, extreme moods, and rarely seen with a soft smile.
Can also see misadventures as genophobic, Stockholm Battered Pony Syndrome wimp married to the murderous, controlling, abusive, psychopath evil accident clone 'Diane' in the comic WTB is This?

ABOUT THE ARTIST
I interact with the brony fandom through my ponysona-ish OC Chopsticks, an imperfect and exaggerated face of myself in real life.
Mostly here to draw one-shot MLP comics.
Let's face it, real life sucks, and it really blows. I want to do everything I can to help out with that. Not with money I don't have or empty words of false encouragement. But in the emotional spectrum of entertainment. I live to to see others emote, react, and self-discover their true selves while forgetting about the reality they deal with day-to-day, whether it's seeing a grimdark relationship with a psychopathic controlling wife and realizing life could be worse, immersing in a short comic for a momentary chuckle, or heartwarming moment bringing a tear to the eye.
FAQ
- Where did the "no boops" / "not cute" thing come from?
When I first joined the fandom, I was unaware of the boop culture, but I didn't like others touching my face. So when I saw "cute/adorable" and boop comments on something I drew that wasn't supposed to evoke that reaction, I eagerly and strongly resisted. Despite all of my fluffing and puffing up like a cat to increase intimidation perception of my size, results have been less than satisfactory.
.
- You love rice but hate boops. What if I gave you a bunch of rice for boop(s)?
I'd rather starve, thank you.
.
- Can I hug you?
Yes, but only because you asked first.
- Can I scritch your ear?
Yes, but don't tell anyone I said so.
.
- Some comics involving your OC seem pretty dark, even a cry for help. Are you ok?
I'm fine. Some of them are inspired by real life things I've dealt with in the past, and based on people I really know. I don't think they should be hidden away and forgotten, but brought to light so others know they're not alone. I find that laughing at the ordeal can help conquer its control, so I often passed it off as dark humor.
.
- Can I draw your OC?
Don't need to ask. But when you're done I'd love to see it!
.
- Do you take commissions?
I no longer take commissions, but I will sometimes take requests.

[Zipp and Pipp nervously sweat when someone does ask, answer simultaneously]
Zipp: We get more milkshake this way.
Pipp: Fewer calories.
[look at each other]
Zipp: It's a, uh, contest!
Pipp: Yeah, to see who can, um,
Zipp: Drink the most milkshake. Sibling rivalry... thing.
Pipp: I'm totally not dieting right now.
[look at each other again]
Both: She's weird, it was her idea! ... She made me do it!
[look at each other again]
Pipp: I deny nothing.
Zipp: I deny everything.

Well, the single, big cup is cheaper than 2 individual larges. It’s a cost-savings decision! And they just keep accidentally forgetting about the couples’ special (even more cost savings) is particular to Hearts and Hooves Day. Just neither one has complained or asked for different straws. It’s true. Pipp is embarrassed by forgetting but Zipp is ok with it.
