So I finally got around to start uploading allot of my work on deviant art.
Iv'e been working too hard lately with my current job that i didn't have time for my hobby and things I love and love to do
drawing and painting.
after being a freelance artist and creative designer in the commercial sector I eventually ended up in a "nine to five" office job but now finally found the time to do again what I think i'm best at.
And started to work again on my own little pet project which still grows by the day "Parhelion"
An art "end" study project that came to life as an task from my end years of study.
Where you needed to create an own production of (something) *no they we'rent quite specific
I had a big portfolio, From fantasy, sci-fi, fan art, design, commercials ect.
But needed to make something my own...
So I created my own universe!
If George Lucas could so could I, or so i thought..
I created a rich universe created on how the "greats" of the 70's and 80's looked at sci-fi.
In this universe the old abstract white space stations, cosmonauts and space shuttles would be introduced to a Si-fi we of (back then) 2004 looked at things, be it games, films, books ect...
I created something my fellow students called me a brain child for.
"A brainchild of an universe that will not stop expanding"...
My intentions were to create a Moc-up for all the storyboard,(level's)environments, species, planets
and they we're right!
Each time i created something, i'm again making twenty five different variations of it!
But that is what helped me keep progressing through things (it just takes a bit longer)
After I got cought up in my current job three years ago I put my project on hold, and didn't got too see the light of day until recently.
Which was a waste..
So i restarted the project and with the help of a friend we tough things over.
And so Parhelion Card game was born.
The project back in the school days was intended to be a computer game moc up, but a card game never crossed my mind.
but now head stong as always we're are going to try and get it into production.
so looking back on all thing (and a lot of text, hihi)
Do what you love and never give up, and most of all as Walt Disney said it himself "be the pessimist" do what you love each day with passion and joy.
never stop dreaming nor believing in one's self.
I hope you'll enjoy watching my work as much as i love seeing all of your work and being creative about what you do and do best
, and wish all readers an optimistic and creative day
