Indulging in your own envy. It's wrong and poisonous, but the hell with it.

Because there's no wifi in the house anymore, I kinda felt too lazy to use my laptop to draw, so here's another watercolor painting.
Like I said previously, I wanna do something like BEGRUDGED (a piece I did in 2008 with oil pastels) but we don't have oil pastels anymore, and I felt like wasting my watercolor pencils. The concept was inspired by my hidden envy towards some of my good friends (cuz they are my good friends after all) and some internet friends I made this year which went to concerts I couldn't go to.

This is interesting and very well done surrealism, Dali-like. Really deep with the hidden messages (I won't go into it). Lots of stuff going on.

my family's been saving them a long time ago for my smaller siblings to use. they bought them in local stores, both in Indonesia and Brunei.

I'm gonna look for those. At the moment I only have Faber Castell and Thomas Kinkade. I also have Pentel watercolours. I wonder if National Bookstore has Luna. What's the box like?

i never heard of thomas kinkade before. ooh, Pentel is good though, and I like their line of oil pastels.

:headbang: you can always try. blend in colors and stuff before you overlay water on your watercolor pencils.

:huggle: whooo thanks~
heheh I just hope the eyes on the leg don't mean any other symbolism or something… they're just random stuff. and I do loves me some blood on the walls

Yeah I really like how you did the blood....the one thing I like the most about this drawing is the face....I've always been jealous on how you draw faces....seriously you can make a character go from looking creepy as f**k to looking completely normal....

omg then you can try copying how I draw faces. i don't mind being copied at all ahahahaha
sometimes I copy how other people draw facial expressions too and now i'm doing crazy-ass facial expressions on my own.

as for the blood, the messier the better I guess, but when it comes to color pencils it's kinda hard to make it look like splashes and splatters instead of pencil etches. it's easier done by paint.

Lol ok then....I'm going to be honostly here I've been following your art since 2008 and one thing I always notice before anything else is the faces....

This is true....I should know I've been using colored pencils since middle school and even I can't get blood to look like blood

huh, I guess faces are my strongest drawing factor (and coloring) and I'm kinda weak at limbs.

mhm… thats why watercolor pencils rock \m/
