Surprising absolutely no one, I continue to be terrible at Journal posts talking about my life.
Original plan for today after coming home from band seminar was to go to a workshop I share with some friends and work on costume stuff, but the rain started coming down like whoa on my way home from the bus stop, and then the wind picked up too, so I was all NOPE. Hoping maybe things will settle a bit tomorrow morning so I can get some work in before Pokémon GO Community Day and checking out Raptus Tegneseriefestival.
I want to go reclaim the nearby gyms in the name of Team Valour but I also reeeaaally don't want to go outside right now.
Which also turned into a slight pink-purple-turquoise feature because that '80s colour scheme is apparently extremely popular for space art.
Put together for the Curated Feature - Contest and also it was about time I put up something new in this ol' Journal. It took me way too long to decide on a theme, since for my first ideas I couldn't find enough art that fit the contest guidelines. There's this Valentine's Day: Show Your Heart! event/activity thing going on right now, and the task for today is: "Make a journal sharing 5 deviations about a topic you love!"

And then I kind of got carried away and ended up with way more than five deviations.
This was originally going to just be a quick Status post, but then it got kind of long when I barfed excited words all over it, so hey, new Journal update dealio, I guess?

Yep, birthday. It... was a day, I guess. Went to work; boss gave me some cake, so that was nice; came home, baked my own cake; went to band rehearsal and shared cake with people; came home and here we are.
I super appreciate the birthday messages people have left on my page. Thanks, everyone.
I did intend to finally have some new art to post because yeah, that whole "Maybe this year you should complete all those unfinished projects cluttering up your living space, hey?" thing is off to a hell of a start, isn't it? Although I have not started on any new major projects either, so there's that.
An overview of last week for me will per
