I'm shy and bad at self-promotion. I like historical/supernatural anime and manga, morally dubious characters, Japanese mythology, and intricate art styles. I also like making hats. Hats are fabulous.
I was introduced to cosplay and anime by my sister aecr in 2004; she has since left the hobby, but I'm still here working on leveling up my craftsmanship!
I'm working on a BA in East Asian Studies, with a particular interest in Shinto. Outside of academia and cosplay, my hobbies include gardening, reading, bicycling, figure collecting, and exploring wild places.
Chilmark is the name of my hometown in Massachusetts. A gryphon is a mythical beast with the head of an eagle and the body of a lion. It's been my screen name since 2001, I can't seem to pick a new one...
