So.

I've had a really bad case of chapped lips for the past few months. I have no idea why this is. It comes and goes every few weeks, leaving me with bloody lips.

The WORST PART is the damn corner of my mouth, though. It decides to painfully split open and bleed whenever I smile or open my mouth too wide.

The past two days have been particularly bad, so I doodled out my frustrations :XD:

It reminds me of Pan's Labyrinth, when that girl cuts that evil Hitler man's mouth open and then he has to sew it up...elohel. But this is awesome. Well, not good for your poor mouth, but an awesome picture. The shading is gorgeous.

Ouch You poor thing. I remember having badly chapped lips as a kid. It's very painful, isn't it?

Use a Chap of Stick to make yourself better.

Is it me, or does your art get better with every post?

I get really bad chapped lips too. The best way to help is to remove any dry skin by rubbing it off with a warm or hot, wet wash cloth, then moisturizing. Also, blistex and other "medical" crap never worked for me. They tend to dry out the lips because a lot of them contain alcohol. I find that those cheap kiddie lip balms like Bonne Belle or Lipsmackers work the best. Or try some cocoa butter lip balm. It's like 99 cents at the drug store, doesn't matter what brand. You can also resort to plain old Vaseline or pure shea nut butter.

...That's weird. I've been getting unusually chapped lips for the past week or so. :/

Clearly, we either have some kind of frightening, voodoo-like connection, or are both victims of a horrible worldwide chapped-lip catastrophe. My money's on the catastrophe.

...IT'S ALL THIS GLOBAL WARMING, I TELL YOU! THE OZONE LAYER WILL HAVE ITS REVENGE!!!!!! >8UUUUUUUUU

Voodoo global warming, mebbe?

Like, aliens on another planet have a little voodoo Earth and they are making the most important individuals--you and me, clearly--suffer from dry lips and causing damage to the Earth as a whole.

Soon, there will be mass panic. And the aliens--happily slurping around on their moist, purple, mint-flavored planet--will laugh and bathe in pools of liquid chapstick, which is really what will save our planet from global warming... IF ONLY THE SCIENTISTS WOULD BELIEVE ME!

Yep.
