Description

Some adopts because I’m running low on points again :) plus I love designing adopts.

Anyways, these are 45 points each. Please wait for my go ahead to send points.

They do have breeds/personalities/etc. but those can totally be changed! Don’t feel you have to keep them. Please keep the design recognizable though!

You may use these for harpg or any other group on dA. :)
Please credit me on their ref sheet. No need to credit after that.

1. OPEN. Haflinger mare. 4 years old. Chestnut Pangare. This little filly is a delight to work with. She is on the bigger and heftier size of the breed and has been ridden by well schooled adults. She sometimes gets a little insecure and will stop and get “stuck”, but with a kind and understanding handler, this mare has great potential to be a wonderful lesson pony, driving horse, dressage horse, or pony club horse.

2. OPEN. Mongolian pony stallion. 6 years old. Smokey black and white. This stallion lived wild in Mongolia for the first few years of his life. He was captured and trained by the Mongolian people but an English traveler bought a bunch of their horses from them. His little guy has since been in a crowded pen and has developed some unpleasant behaviors. He will pin his ears, bite and kick at anyone that gets near him. Perhaps if the right person had the time to unbury his amazing potential they would see his unlimited worth.

3. CLOSED. Gypsy Vanner stallion. 5 years old. Buckskin rabicano splash. This gelding is extremely playful. He gets his nose into every little thing that he can. He is very good at opening stable doors and loves playing with people’s hats and coat zippers. And don’t even bother putting a blanket on him! He is the master at taking it off (usually still in one piece) and triumphantly carries it around.

4. OPEN. New Forest Horse mare. 8 years old. Silver black. This sweet girl was raised on an old fashioned Christmas tree farm. Her main job was to bring Christmas trees to the parking lot and give people sleigh rides. She is a babysitter type, wise beyond her years, and the old owners often stacked all six of their children on her back. Now, she is mostly looking for a loving family and perhaps some children for her to teach.

5. CLOSED. Standardbred stallion. 3 years old. Chestnut Tobiano. If you’re looking for a project, this untouched stallion might just be your guy. He was taken from a very poor situation with a backyard breeder that overbred, trying to get colorful horses. His feet were overgrown and he was skinny and dirty. Under all the neglect, the rescuers found a kind and smart animal, just looking for the perfect person to please for the rest of his life.

6. OPEN. Ardennais draft horse mare. 7 years old. Bay pangare. This huge girl can easily carry a grown man and has a beautiful little jog and lope. She was ridden western pleasure and excelled in it, but would also make a lovely trail horse or teach her anything and she will step up to the plate. Loves learning but can definitely be on the lazy side. However, she is highly treat motivated.

7. CLOSED. Standardbred stallion. 11 years old. Liver chestnut. This stallion was an Amish buggy horse. Nothing can scare him, but he is a little head shy. He developed an abscess in his hoof and was sent through the auction. He was picked up by a women that new nothing about horses but just wanted him safe. He healed up in her small barn and his loving and needy personality has shone through. Now he is looking for a home with someone that won’t mind a huge lap horse.

8. OPEN. Standardbred stallion. 8 years old. Bay Sabino. This stallion was a pacer and sulky-raced when he was younger. His racing name is Sudden Hail Storm but he doesn’t have a barn name. He is very strong in the bit but is a very down to earth kind of guy in the right hands. His true desire is to please his owner but he has been trained to move out quickly for so long that it may take some time. He has the potential for anything.
