Story:

Dusty grabbed Stardust and brought her over. Both mares stared at each other over the gate, though Larchi was unwilling to approach yet. Dusty let Stardust move towards the gate and stepped aside so the new mare wouldn’t feel nervous about his presence. All three people held their breath as slowly Larchi approached. When she was somewhat near, she reached out her muzzle and gave a long huff. Stardust reached out too and they touched noses. After some sniffing, Larchi gave a little squeal and circled around in a floaty prance, but came right back. After a few sniffs and squeals, they just stood near each other. Finally, Stardust turned her head to Dusty and stepped over to him. She gave him a little nudge and he laughed. 

“Okay okay,” Dusty said. “I hear you. You can got this.”

Miru opened the gate and Dusty let Stardust into the pen. Both mares walked to the far edge and Stardust immediately began munching on the hay, forever food motivated. Larchi stood near her, head still high, for a long moment. Then, as if deciding it was safe after all, she lowered her head to eat.
