The young Chipmunk jumped in surprise at his father’s yell. ‘What’d I do now?’ he wondered, hurrying down the stairs to see what was going on.
He was almost all the way down when he noticed what had made his dad angry. The TV was still on, despite the fact he’d stopped watching over two hours ago. “Oops.”
“Alvin, how many times have I told you to turn off the TV when you’re done with it?” Dave asked his son, raising an eyebrow.
Alvin thought it over for a minute. “Umm…a lot?”
Shaking his head, Dave turned the television off. “No more TV for you tonight, Alvin.”
The Chipmunk in question crossed his arms, pouting. “That’s not fair, Dave!”
“I think it’s more than fair, Alvin.” his father replied. “You need to start listening to me. Just go to your room until dinner.”
