Lately I've felt inspired to draw digitally again.
So I looked in my "Ongoing Projects" folder, it's the folder where I keep my unfinished digital art.
I think I need to clean out that folder, because I'm now at that point where I would rather start over several of the drawings then finish them, because there are mistakes in there that seem quite obvious now.
For example:
It's a redraw, there is so much that annoys me about it know that I would have to start all over again... I think one of the problems is that I made the proportions to realistic...
Off course there is also some art that's just kinda not relevant anymore... art for
for example... I think that group might be kinda dead.

WHAT DID THEY DO WITH THE NOTIFICATIONS???
I haven't replied to any comments in ages... So I figured I really should do that right now... WHAT ON EARTH DID THEY DO WITH THE NOTIFICATIONS??? I have a bunch of square thumbnail thingies, did someone fave it, comment on it? I DON'T KNOW! Deviantart why do you do this to me? I have nowhere else to go! Instagram: no, I want people to see my art without having to make an account. ( that also goes for twitter ) ( it's such a shame, I've often considered instagram, even if it's just to follow artists that aren't on deviantart, but I don't want to bother with a website tries to force people to make an account. ) Twitter: NO, whenever I check twitter it makes me miserable, people are vicious! Facebook: my facebook will not be public, and I also want a public place. Tumblr: too much chaos. ( In case of twitter, facebook and tumblr I also dislike the share functions, I would like facebook a whole lot better if everyone just posted their own content instead of sharing lame jokes.
Birdcams and Redfin
Remember how, about 10 years ago I was following a Birdcam with 2 redtailed hawks ( Bobby & Violet. )? Some time ago... a little over a week I think, youtube recommended a German livestream with different birdcams, and I'm really enjoying it! I've found that I'm for some reason very fond of Philidelphia. I've even found a building I'm totally in love with: The Wanamaker House. BTW, I thought these two little hobbies, especially looking at random houses online, were a little odd, or at the very least, somewhat uncommon. But I found out it's apparently really hip right now. :giggle: ( do people still say "hip"? ^^; ) PS: I also found a birdcam in South Africa, I've so far
14th deviantart birthday
So apparently today is my 14th deviantart birthday. I haven't exactly been active over-here, though I haven't been active on my personal Facebook either. Somehow I just haven't really been feeling like being active here the last few months... ( I at least partly blame eclipse :stare: ) BTW... I kinda thought my deviantart-birthday was on the 19th rather than the 20th... I USED TO BE ABLE TE SEE THAT! :stare: Maybe I still can... in that case I ONCE AGAIN CAN'T FIND ANYTHING ON ECLIPSE! :stare: )
I'm still alive
It's kinda weird to realise this has been my latest art here on deviantart: It was posted May 23, 2020. I wonder if I EVER have gone that long without posting something new... I still check deviantart daily though. I have also found that it's easier to follow peoples posts from the "Home" tab and than "Posts" than from the "Watch" tab. I guess I currently have a bit of an art-block when it comes to drawing. ( I still work with resin from time to time. ) I have already been thinking a bit about Inktober though. ;)

Sometimes throwing away unfinished art is the best course of action.. Take a look at what still inspires you and work on those. Archive (not delete) the rest.
By the by., your example quite looks like a finished art already.. perhaps its missing it's background but the majority is done.. you could defiantly re-start this one as an improvement redraw series..

Art should make you happy, so do what makes you happy!
As for the village.. Well... all the art you were making for them is still art you were making for yourself..
the village inspired you to draw it, but now it's gone it's not like your need for that particular drawing is gone
It might still be nice for you personally to have. If not, by all means archive it. Not all art is meant to be finished...
