hello my dear deviants!
i have a hard time believing anyone would still follow me and therefor find this post, but the weirdest thing just happened. i got a random email, and it's short enough to copy paste and I hope the author wouldn't mind because it was quite meaningful to me;
" You were one of the all time best artists on DA. I really wish that you would pop in now and then to let your old fans know that you are alive and well and perhaps show us some of the work that you are doing now. "
that really touched me. i don't get a lot of reminders about my 'photographic past', but when i do, it's very nice and heartwarming whether it's a message like that, or perhaps i am going through my bookshelf and see a bookcover i shot, or whatever. however past is what it is, so there is no (artistic) work that i am doing now. i wish it wasn't a disappointment to anyone, things come and go in life, and i don't know what killed my inspiration, but i am so glad i had it and it changed
