Hey, Look at this!
Since a lot of you guys seem to have enjoyed my Paper Mario: The Book of Ages idea (or perhaps only the drawing, but who cares), I decided to do little pictures on each chapter during the paper adventure.
Picking up where I left off here [link] , let's continue with Chapter 5. Mario's next night sky instrument takes him and his new friends to the city of Kaimán Koast. The Ocean town is full of tourists and locals. Everything is pieceful untill Mario arives at the museum. There they learn that the Planetoid Piccilo had been stolen. There they run into a kremling kritter in a nice suit and tie. He introduces himself by the name of Linger. K. Linger. Under His Majesty's Secret Service, K. Linger had been sent out here to find what had happened to the instrument. K. Linger had already figured it was his archnemisis and crimminal mastermind Mr. Gulpfeld, and is now trying to track down where he has gone to. K. Linger, who recognises who Mario is, asked if Mario could help him out. Now Mario and friends except to help, only if they can have the instrument. They then explain what they need the instruments for. K Linger understands the situation and agrees on the terms. As Mario and KL leave the museum, KL gets a call on his watch phone from one of his contacts that someone who knew of where Gulpfeld was would meet him on the roof of the inn at midnight. (To get there you would have to use K. Linger's ability to climb ropes and stuff)
There at midnight, Mario and co. find Goomriel, who says she knows of Gulpfeld's whereabouts. She goes on to say that on the volcanic island of Ananab, Gulpfeld had established a hollowed out volcano lair. She then goes on to say that she had spotted that strange contraptions had been transported there. K. Linger then asks if she knew of where the Plantetoid Piccilo was being held, but she didn't know. She then tells Mario and co. where the islnd is and tells them to meet her there.
After she leaves, K. Linger tells Mario to go to this old abandoned house the next morning. Once inside, K.L reveals a hidden door and inside is an entire labratory full a crazy gizmos. There they meet B, the leader of the reaserch and developement branch of His Majesty's Secret Service, who gives Linger a bunch of gadgets to use in the mission. Two of witch are the foldable boat motor, and the rope in a can. Before Mario and co. could sail off, , they run into Wario and Waluigi (Sorry, I did not draw them for there isn't much room for them, but don't worry. I'll eventually draw them(probably in Chapter 8) who now have a different fighting technique they think will give them the upperhand. They fight, Mario wins (or by chance, you could lose), and The Wario "bros." scurry off swearing they get Mario next time. With the that Mario leaves for Ananab Island.
At the island they run into Goomrielwho has found a back entrance into the hideout. The way takes them through the dense jungle. As they approach the back door, Mario is ambushed by hundreds of namless guards and Gulpfelds right hand man, Scutwork, the imposing lakitu with a really hard hat. There it is revealed that Goomriel was actually working for Gulpfeld and with that, Mario is taken away inside the hollowed out volcano lair. They are taken directly to Gulpfeld himself, who then within a long monolague that with the power of the Night Sky instrument he's going to threaten the many wolrd leaders with his Brick Ray (A ray gun that creates those brick like Kammy Koopa did to Goompapa's fence in PM), in hopes to get a lot of money. Which he then dirrects his attetion to the large video screen that displays the Kings of the various worlds, and gives his speech to the world leaders. After that, Mario and K Linger are taken away.... Wait, you're still reading this? Wow, I have to give you credit for reading this far. Anyways Mario and partners are then put onto a platform supended over a pool of Jelectros with one inept guard patroling the door out. The platform starts to lower own slowly, giving enough time for K.L to use the rope in a can to get off the platform and take out the guard. They then steal the guards uniform and sneak out unoticed (This along with the Girlie hat you receive in Chapter 1 stay with you every time you go back in time, so you can fight the boss again, much like you did in Majora's Mask). But when you get further into the base, the disguise won't work, so you have to sneak Metal Gear style.
Eventually you come back to the Main chamber where you confront Mr. Gulpfeld. There you have to fight Scut work, who throws hats as his main attack. After you beat Scutwork, one of his hats hits the Brick RAy, which accidentally discharges and starts a chain reaction, that has the volcano on the verge of eruption, which in turn will comprimise the entire base. So Mario quckly hammers out the Planetoid Piccilo from the Brick Ray and starts escaping, but before he could leave the room, Gulpsfeld and Scutwork cut them off and another battle ensues. This battle is timed but otherwise pretty strait forward. After the battle, Gulpfeld scurries off into his escape pod chair and blasts away. Now they can finally escape. Going all the way through the base, may or may not run into some guards, but most will be running away with you. And as your just about to escape out the fron door, a battle tired Scutwork, again cuts you off to battle you a third time, only to be bonked by Goomriel, who explains how she was actually a G.I.A. ( Goomba Intelligence Agency) oprative working as a mole in Gulpfeld's organisation.
So Mario and friends escape the island with the Planetoid Piccilo inhand, thus triggering the "END OF CHAPTER" sequence. Then you get to control Luigi (Like you would with Peach in previous two Paper Mario games) who is in Countdown Town. With his story ending up telling you that the next Night Sky Instrument is in the Clockwork Colloseum North of Countdown Town. Now back to Mario, who is talking with K. Linger outside of town. Linger who has already been told of why Mario needs the Night Sky Instruments explains taht his next mission is to help Mario on his quest and to continue traveling with Mario. So now Mario has seven party members who now have four instruments out of 7.
Yep, that sums up my idea. And I'm amazed that you read the whole thing! Unless you cheated and skipped most of it, you cheeky little.... Anyways, if you are wondering, some of my ideas before might have changed (Like how I got rid of that chef bob-omb for the Bomb Boo in the previous chapter). And if you are wondering, since this is like Majora's Mask, you can go back in time anytime you want, and you can "redo" chapters as some side quest will need those story arcs to be complete. And I'm well aware this is a parody of James Bond. you don't have to tell me. And since I'm really tired, my story probably came out much worse then intendid, and will probably be corrected soon.
