First of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
For my birthday you wrote me something absolutely fabulous. Thought I could write you a thing, too.
I stumbled onto your old page about a year and a half ago, as I was browsing next generation art. Your NG definitely stood out by its fantastic characters and the magnificent art style.
I absolutely adored your art instantly.
Today, on this December 3rd, it's not only your art that I love, but you too. We had some misunderstandings, yes, but you forgave me. You forgave me when I screwed up the most, when I thought it wasn't possible. And I couldn't be more thankful, because as time went on, we became closer and closer. A friend, then a very close friend, then a best friend, then my best friend. You became like a third sister to me, someone I can trust, someone I can share passions with, someone who is always there when I need her. Someone that accepts and cherishes me for who I am.
You became one of the most important people in my life. I feel closer to you than to most people I know, no matter the kilometers and kilometers that keep us apart. Because it doesn't matter if you live in New Jersey and I, in Quebec. It doesn't matter if we can only communicate by Skype, Deviantart, Instagram, behind a screen. I wouldn't trade this friendship with anything, and I mean anything.
On my birthday, you told me you'd take two bullets for me. And on your birthday, I confirm that, without a doubt, I'd do the same.
I'd take two bullets for you too.
Everyone around me heard at least once the word "Pug". It might have been from me, who talks about you to my friends at school, or to that boy from primary school I haven't seen in a year. Because if someone asks me how I've been, it's only a matter of time before your name comes up in the conversation.
People might have also heard your name from my mother, who will proudly mention how I've met an online friend that means the world to me.
Because Silvy, you're perfect. You're incredibly talented, creative, beautiful, funny, kind, smart, unique and oh god words cannot describe how utterly amazing you are. And every conversation we have makes me realize how lucky I am to have a best friend like you.
Thank you for being such an incredible friend. Thank you for being you.
Have a fantastic birthday
P.S.: my mom took the laptop with her for the weekend but expect some bday fan art
P.P.S.: meant to post yesterday, but I wasn't totally happy with the letter. hope you don't mind.
